History of Pinewood Resort

Pinewood Resort, Karat dates back to the year 1989 as a farm house passionately nurtured by Mr. Savio Lobo & Mrs. Ave Lobo.

Mrs. Lobo with a green thumb has landscaped all the bountiful flora and foliage over the years which proudly defines us as “the nature resort” today. Her ability to always keep the place clean, neat and orderly has been one of the pillars of our strengths till date. Mr. Lobocomplimenting Mrs. Lobo, holds great interest in all things technical and architectural that has beautifully paved the way for all thefacades which exuberate Goan and Portuguese design there by staying close to their roots. His vision to create practical & functional spaces has carved out a one-of-a-kind destination for all where there is something for everyone to enjoy at Pinewood!

In the year 2006 Pinewood as a Resort came into being to share this abode of nature to everyone who wants to experience a rustic getaway away or simply just create unforgettable memories with your friends and families all amidst nature.

Our Vision

Pinewood Resort, has always shared a vision in being ecologically balanced and create a clean and green destination for our customers. Ensuring proper disposal of all wet and dry waste and proper handling of sewage keeps our property not only clean& uncluttered but also the areas surrounding our property clean and well-preserved. In our efforts to beenergy efficient; we have changed to LED lights wherever possible. Our recent installation of solar systems is something we are proud to announce and takes us forward towards our green endeavours. Our staff mostly locally employed not only brings out our warm and down to earth hospitality but also helps give back to society through local employment.
